About US

Our Journey

Green is the colour of life, renewal, nature, and energy. It signifies growth, harmony, freshness, safety, fertility, and the environment.

Green Watch is a registered organisation that was established with a vision to help communities strive towards a sustainable lifestyle by maximising their resource recovery from waste. The term ‘resource recovery’ is preferred over waste management, as we strongly believe that there is no such thing as waste and most things can be  recovered, reused and recycled again.

Green Watch was envisioned in line with Goal 12 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030 to “to facilitate the economy with responsible consumption and production & climate change”.

Finally, as an organisation, we strongly believe in the notion of Green Karma, wherein we encourage to undertake environmentally conscious thoughts and actions to give back, conserve and protect our Mother Earth .

Our Mission

As a society, it is important to understand that the  need of the hour is to take care of our environment and alter all detrimental habits and practices that harm our planet. We at Green Watch actively strive to familiarise people with the notion of Green Karma, as we believe that  Mother Nature is watchful of everything that we do.

It is our mission to guide communities towards living a sustainable life and support organisations for effective resource management.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create Zero-landfill cities, towns and villages and give back maximum to Nature

Our Goal

Green Watch believes that successful resource management, a psychological up-gradation of individual thoughts and cultural beliefs is critical. In other words, an immediate social and behavioural communication change is needed to present the current situation.

We believe that unless we overcome the prevailing Not-In-My-Back-Yard (NIMBY) Syndrome and develop a sense of ownership, we will continue to encourage the tendency remain indifferent nature and environment in future generations. Thus, our goal is to change the prevailing beliefs and habits and encourage societies to lead a sustainable lifestyle.
